delivery on christmas eve;

[Sorey will find a package waiting for him! It's wrapped in the usual tradition with white and black foil and a blue ribbon on top. The box contains assorted cookies, both mundane (sparkly white and gold macarons) and magical (they change from vanilla to chocolate and back again as they are being eaten).

The largest gift is a thick, old botany book written in an indecipherable alien language. There is a leather book bag to go with it, and it is inscribed with several gently glowing blue runes that ward off water. There is also a letter.]

Sorey,

On Azeroth, this time of year is known as the Feast of Winter Veil. It is a time of celebration and thanks, but we also honor the personification of Winter itself, who is said to be an old man swathed in snow and ice. Perhaps he is something like a seraph? It is likely that he was based on one of the world's Watchers, who were blessed with a portion of the Titan's power before they disappeared from my world.

I thought it appropriate to include you in the celebration since I -- consider you a friend. You were also raised with a water elemental, so there is that to consider as well. A stroke of irony, perhaps.

There is a feast tonight on the Bishop, and you are very much invited. Bring whoever you'd like-- the more the merrier.

Warm wishes and all the best,
Belthazar Anor'thalion
