It is a time of celebration and thanks, but we also honor the personification of Winter itself, who is said to be an old man swathed in snow and ice. Perhaps he is something like a seraph? It is likely that he was based on one of the world's Watchers, who were blessed with a portion of the Titan's power before they disappeared from my world.
I thought it appropriate to include you in the celebration since I -- consider you a friend. You were also raised with a water elemental, so there is that to consider as well. A stroke of irony, perhaps.
