[Whether it's startling or not - and it is, a little - Mikleo doesn't flinch or pull away. He's just as glad as Sorey, and it's only due to his physical weakness that he's slow to return the embrace. He clings back as tightly as his hands can grip, closing his eyes and carding his fingers through Sorey's hair, trembling but grateful.

If this is his fate, then as unfortunate as it might be, he'll endure. It's enough that he's not alone.]
